Manifesto
The right
to leave
Every tool you use to think is trying to keep you.
Your memories, your skills, the months of context you've taught your agent — they live in someone else's format, on someone else's terms, behind someone else's export button. You didn't choose that. It was chosen for you, one convenient default at a time.
We think that's backwards.
Your agent state is yours — by authorship, not by permission. You wrote it. You should be able to take it anywhere, run it in any agent, fork it, keep it, or walk away with all of it. The day a better agent ships, you should be able to try it before lunch — not rebuild for a week.
Aplexica keeps your context in files you own, in every agent's own native format. Not on our server. Not in our cloud. On your disk, where it belongs.
The proof is simple: install Aplexica, move your context across every agent you use — then uninstall it. Nothing breaks. Nothing leaves. Every agent keeps everything.
That's not a feature. It's a promise: you are never locked in — not even to us.
Own your context.
Move freely.
Try everything.
